Recently, the 2018 Nigeria Branch 1st Anniversary Celebration & Award Ceremony was grandly held in the 10 Degrees Event Center in Lagos.

Mr. Kenny Chen, Nigeria branch manager gave a speech. Firstly, he extended a warm welcome to the excellent leaders and members from various countries, and extended thanks for their support to the Norland Nigeria branch. Mr. Johnny Chen, Vice President of Norland International Business Department, explained the development prospect of the Norland in the whole international market and the overall strategic planning of the international regions in 2019. He also extended his warm congratulations to everyone on their good achievements in the past year and thanks for their trust and support to the Norland. In the future, the Norland will provide our family members with broader development space and better products.

 

Nigeria is China's third largest trading partner in Africa and China's second largest export market in Africa. China's trade with Nigeria accounts for 39% of the total trade volume in West Africa and 8.1% of the total trade volume in Africa.

 

The Norland has been actively responding to the "One Belt and One Road" initiative, relying on overseas market channels and exploiting global market with the global pattern and great wisdom.

 

It is reported that the products exported from the Norland to Nigeria mainly focus on health care products. Since the Norland has been making full efforts to develop the Nigeria market, it has maintained a very good development momentum. The development from Lagos, Nigeria to the surrounding regions has achieved a breakthrough.

The most exciting part of the event -- the award ceremony, Mr. Kenny Chen, Nigeria Branch Manager, Mr. Gabriel Zhang, Dean of International Business Department, and Mr. Johnny Chen, Vice President of Norland International Business Department presented awards to the outstanding leaders respectively.

 

It is known that 80% of Nigeria's commercial activities are concentrated in Lagos, where has been regarded as Nigeria economic, financial and logistics hub, has been the preferred place for businesses to enter into the West African markets.
