Bangladesh Television Station is a state-owned television network of Bangladesh. The network was originally established in 1964. It is the oldest Bengali-language television network in the world. On 19 December 2021 Bangladesh Television Chittagong center celebrated its 25 anniversary. Norland Bangladesh was selected as one of the four sponsors of the celebration program. Managing Director of Norland Bangladesh Ms. Ellen Hou along with some distributors were invited as special guests.

On this occasion the honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave her video speech to express her wishes to BTV Chittagong Center for its 25th Anniversary.

The information minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud , deputy educational minster Mr. Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury , and Chittagong municipal mayor Mr. Rejaul Karim Chowdhury attended the program and delivered their valuable speeches. The secretary of information ministry Mr Makbul Hossain , DG of Bangladesh Television , VC of Chittagong university Miss Shireen Akhter also attended the program.

The 25th Anniversary celebration of BTV Chittagong center was a very important government activity. The whole program was broadcast lively by Bangladesh Television.
